Resting in His Reality ©
Purpose: Have you
found your life has filled up with so many things that sometimes you wonder
"Why am I so busy pushing through life. Where is God in all this stuff
of life and why can’t I find rest?" The truth is God has a place of
rest for us and it does not begin with heaven. It begins with Him right
here and now. He is the Breath of Life and so often we are huffing and
puffing to push through life without drawing on His breath to help us
breathe.
This study will take
you on a journey that tours through the Bible visiting many different
truths and characters. During this 7 week study we will examine in-depth
Isaiah 11:2 and what each of the virtues listed about Jesus means for us as
a believer. My prayer is that each of us will grasp hold of the truths
before us and begin resting now and not looking to a far off rest that
never seems to permeate our Christian walk. May the LORD open the eyes of
your heart and may your ears be prepared to hear for the word of the LORD
is presented here and His word does not return void.
